    Overview

The EGYPlasma Workshop Series (EWS) is a sequence of specialized scientific events designed to provide an academic platform for scientific dialogue, knowledge exchange, and the discussion of contemporary trends and challenges in plasma physics. The first edition, titled 'Numerical Methods and Plasma Applications', focuses on the vital role of mathematical modeling, scientific computing, and numerical simulations in analyzing complex plasma systems and bridging the gap between theoretical models and experimental applications. The program features focused lectures delivered by prominent professors and specialists, followed by an open research discussion session aimed at fostering future academic collaborations. The event targets faculty members, researchers, postgraduate students (M.Sc. and Ph.D.), and specialists in plasma physics, computational physics, and related fields. The workshop will be held on 07 Nov 2026, under the auspices of Port Said University.
