Overview

The Advanced Plasma Course (APC) is a winter program that presents a series of lectures on nonlinear plasma physics. The target audience of the course is senior BSc and MSc students with an interest in plasma physics. The prerequisite for the course is to study at least the first four chapters of the book by Chen entitled "Introduction to Plasma Physics and Controlled Fusion." The course will be held in and under the auspecies of Arab Academy for Science and Technology and Maritime Transport (Port Said). from 25 Jan 2025 and 30 Jan 2025.

The Advanced Plasma Physics School was an incredible journey filled with excitement, challenges, and deep scientific discussions. Over five days, we explored powerful techniques, discussed numerous research papers, and learned about the latest advancements in plasma physics. Eligibility

  • Physics students in 3rd or 4th level with good background in plasma physics
  • Nuclear Engineering students in 4th or 5th level with good background in plasma physics
  • MSc and PhD student in Plasma Physics or any discipline related to plasma

Registeration fees & Scholarships

  • 1000 EGP
  • We will offer accommodation and lunch for 20 students, who will be selected to attend the course. students without scholarships will pay 2500 EGP
