Brief Biography

Mohamed E. Abdel-Kader received the B.Sc. degree in physics and a pre-master degree in solid-state physics from Al-Azhar University, Assiut, Egypt, in 2004 and 2005 respectively, and the pre-master, M.Sc., and Ph.D. degrees in plasma physics from Al-Azhar University, Cairo, Egypt, in 2008, 2009, and 2014 respectively.

He had worked as a member of the Egyptor tokamak group, toroidal theta pinch, Gas Puff Pinch, and Reversed Field pinch. He is currently Associate Prof. with the Plasma and Nuclear Fusion Department, Nuclear Research Center, Egyptian Atomic Energy Authority, Inshas, Egypt.

Professor Mohmed's current research interests include plasma pinches, plasma coaxial gun, Electric propulsion (ET, EM, and ES), plasma glow discharge (inertial confinement, virtual cathode), and deposition by magnetron sputtering and simulation of pulsed plasma.
