Dr. Amr Hasheim Bekheit has been a research scientist in the Plasma and Nuclear Fusion Department, Nuclear Research Center, Egyptian Atomic Energy Authority, Cairo, since 1993. He is currently a professor and a member of the simulation Plasma transport in edge plasma, theoretical plasma physics, theoretical plasma physics Group, and the Undersecretary of the Division of Nuclear Materials and Manufacturing. His current research interests include simulation of the radial electric field, L-H transition, simulation of heat loads on external walls of the tokamak, tokamak edge plasma, and the solution of Baltzaman equation in quantum and classical cases.
