Brief Biography

Ismail Saeed Hamdy Eid has been working as a teaching assistant at physics labs in the Faculty of Science at Benha University since December 2018. He got a Chinese Scholarship for studying his master's related to plasma physics at the School of Natural Science, Wuhan University of Technology (WUT), in July 2020. In July 2023, Mr. Ismail got his master's degree from WUT due to his work on studying the dynamics of surface waves in quantum graphene nano-plasmonics. Eid has a good opportunity to complete his PhD studies at the National Synchrotron Radiation Lab (the 1st national Lab in China), University of Science and Technology of China (USTC). At USTC, he will focus on studying different devices of 2D materials (including synthesis, characterization, and electrical/optical properties). Besides, Mr. Ismail is interested in investigating the quantum effects in different plasmonic structures, such as solid-state plasmas (e.g., semiconductors and semimetals).
